AI-powered tools are enabling photographers, artists, and visual storytellers to experiment in entirely new ways. In just a few years, billions of AI-generated images have entered the visual ecosystem, reshaping how images are produced, shared, and experienced.
As machines become capable of producing technically perfect images, the value of human perspective becomes even more significant. Emotion, intuition, context, and lived experience are emerging as the qualities that distinguish meaningful image-making from endless visual content. Fabien Charuau is a French photographer, artist and founder of Studio Charuau and Unnisbis.ai. He has lived and worked in India since 1995. Through Studio Charuau, he has built a photography practice across architecture, interiors, hospitality and design. His work pays close attention to light, materials, atmosphere and the way people experience a place. Alongside commissioned work, he has also made art projects and written about how images change in the digital age: how photographs move online, are compressed, changed by algorithms and given new meanings. In A Thousand Kisses Deep (2015), he used found internet images and code to create generative works, starting a wider exploration of digital images and machine-made forms. This research now informs Unnisbis.ai, a developing studio for generative art, AI visual work and consultancy. It brings his earlier work on digital images and generative processes into the present, using AI both as an artistic medium and in applied image projects. Its work moves between artistic research and practical image-making, exploring how generative systems can create new ways to make, develop and think about images. Unnisbis is being built as a space for original work and future collaboration with photographers and creative teams who want to use AI while keeping reference, intention and visual judgement under control.

Chandni Gajria is an independent photographer and a visual artist based in Mumbai. Her practice spans contemporary personal projects, documentary, editorial work and on-set film stills, having worked with filmmakers like Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane and Kiran Rao to name a few. Her personal practice explores themes of belonging, womanhood and, more recently, the idea of ageing. Avinash Jai Singh is an ad film maker & a photographer based in Mumbai, India. His work varies from commercial, fashion and passion projects to bring alive visual stories from the Indian heartland. He has partnered with global brands like Google.org, Adidas, Spotify, Doritos and Coca-Cola & many more. Jai Singh spent a few months in New York attending a series of visual art programs at ICP & NYFA. This helped refresh his perspective and greatly influenced the style and storytelling.

Avinash Thadani Like many, Avinash found joy in creation early on. Unlike most, The figured out how to build a life around it. After beginning his career in advertising and later joining the then-emerging world of mobile marketing in New York, Avinash returned to India in 2011 to co-found Please See// — a branding agency built on the belief that the brands people love most are the ones that genuinely understand them. Over the years, he's worked with legacy businesses, as well as young brands finding their place in the world. At the heart of it all has been the same pursuit: helping brands uncover the love that gives them a reason to exist. For the few hours he's away from his team at the office, Avinash takes to the water. As any strategist like him will tell you, the best things are rarely done halfway. That same mindset led him to complete an Ironman Triathlon in 2019 and swim across the English Channel in 2025, spending 22 hours in the water. Because as it turns out, Avinash has always believed the best things are built the same way: with conviction, commitment, and a whole lot of love.
