Katya Grineva is an internationally acclaimed pianist renowned for her poetic, romantic approach to the piano and her long-standing association with Carnegie Hall, where she has performed annually since her debut in 1998. Born in Moscow, she began studying piano at the age of six and trained at the Moscow High School of Music under the Moscow Conservatory before continuing her studies in New York at the Mannes School of Music.Her American orchestral debut came in 1993 with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, and she has since appeared as a soloist with leading orchestras and in recital halls across the United States, Europe, and South America. A Steinway Artist since 1998, Grineva has been widely praised for her refined tone, emotional depth, and spiritual sensitivity, with The New York Times describing her playing as “liquid and dreamlike.”She has released nine acclaimed recordings and remains deeply committed to sharing the transformative power of classical music with audiences worldwide.
