Create Your Own Comics

Abhijeet Kini is a illustrator, animator and comics creator. He is an independent comics publisher, with two recently launched titles under his name, "Milk and Quickies" and "Angry Maushi". He has been into magazine and newspaper illustrations since 1999, freelancing from back in his college days, with publications like Mid-Day, Timesgroup, etc. He is a regular illustrator with Tinkle comics, working on famous characters like Butterfingers, Defective Detectives and SuperWeirdos. Some other publications that feature his works are Timeout Mumbai, Comic Con India and of course, HT Brunch, among others. Alongside, he has recently started his own merchandise line, along with his wife Diksha, who directs and markets the products. The two are regular faces at the Comic Cons in India.

Shabnam Minwalla is a journalist, writer and mother of three busy little girls as a Senior Assistant Editor with the Times of India she covered areas like education and health. Today she is a book reviewer with the Times of India Crest Edition. She has also written a book on St Xavier's College, Mumbai. A passionate book lover, Shabnam is constantly reading to her daughters and is always on the look out for books which are relevant to Indian children.
