AVID presents NCPA Jazz Matazz Chalk talk - a series of lecture demonstrations on various aspects of jazz.

Jazz is one of life's greatest gifts. It is the one musical form that is true, authentic and pure. A skilled performer will interpret a tune in very individual ways, never playing a composition exactly the same way twice. Depending upon the performer's mood and personal experience, interactions with fellow musicians or even members of the audience, a true jazz musician will play the music that comes from his soul by altering melodies, harmonies at will.

The 3-day program will indulge you in the magical world of Jazz through talks and live music by Ahmed Ebrahim, Sunil Sampat and Naresh Fernandes. So come join us, demystify and increase awareness about this easy-listening and relaxing genre of music.
