An introductory 3-days workshop towards enhancing and understanding of arts management, leadership and organization of arts and cultural activities. The workshop is directed towards emerging and middle level arts workers and professionals who have already had some exprience working in the arts and want to progress further in their field.
Associate Professor Jo Caust is a Principal Fellow (Hon) at the University of Melbourne and Director of her own arts consulting company, JoCaustArts. Previously she directed the Graduate Arts and Cultural Management Program at the University of South Australia for many years and founded and edited the Asia Pacific Journal of Arts and Cultural Management. Her edited book Arts leadership: International Case Studies was published by Tilde University Press in September 2012. She is presently writing and editing two more books on arts leadership. Dr Caust has extensive experience internationally as a trainer, researcher and consultant. Over the past five years she has run many workshops in different Asian countries on arts leadership, cultural policy and planning.
