As a preview to the DSC Jaipur Literature Festival 2013, join us for a curiously delightful evening as we explore sister cities along the water: Karachi, Mumbai and New York. Spend an evening with Home Boy author, H.M. Naqvi, as he struts through his favourite cities in conversation with Naresh Fernandes.

H.M. Naqvi

Author

H.M. Naqvi is an award winning author of Home Boy. He has worked in the financial services industry, in a slam venue and taught creative writing at Boston University. He has won the DSC prize for South Asian Literature and the Phelam prize for poetry. Currently based in Karachi, he is working on his second novel.

Naresh Fernandes

Journalist

Naresh Fernandes is a journalist who lives in Mumbai. He was the founding editor of Time Out India and the author of Taj Mahal Foxtrot: The Story of Bombay's Jazz Age. He is also the co-author of Bombay Then and Mumbai Now and the co-editor, along with Jerry Pinto, of Bombay Meri Jaan, an anthology of writing about Bombay. He is a regular contributor to the New York Times' India Ink
