Listening to stories can be a vivid creative experience, be it Aesop's tales, Harry Potter , Hansel and Gretel or even Oliver Twist. Stories are magical and can come to life through the storyteller's skillls and sheer creativity of language and speech, matched with the imagination of the listener. storytelling is an Art that expresses a perspective in a distinct way, making it an unforgettable experience for all. it creates self-confidence, fosters an awareness of one's unique imagination and enhances listening skills. AVID Children's Series and TimeOut present The Art of Storytelling workshop in association with The Ideas Box, with Anubha rastogi, facilitator and storyteller, who shall equip your child with skills that go beyond a simple read.

Anubha Rustogi is a young, English Literature graduate from the Delhi University. Anubha’s love for stories and children makes her an accomplished storyteller and she has been working with organisations like Disney, Amar Chitra Katha and various NGOs as a storyteller. She has conducted various workshops and sessions in schools. Anubha believes that in an age where children are inundated with electronic gizmos, the age old method of learning through stories is still the most effective method. She is an accomplished theatre actor and her repertoire include Hindi plays like Kathputli – Written and Directed by Aakash Kaushik an NSD and India International Centre project Hamari Matrabhasha Hindi - Written and directed by Viral Arya and English plays like No Exit by Jean Paul Sartre – Directed by Jithin S George, Limbo- Written by Vikram Phukan, Directed by Manish Gandhi, 4 of a Kind Directed by Sanket Mhatre- Produced by The Playmakers and presented at the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival Anubha has also worked in short films like -And Struggle Continues – Directed by Neelambari Perumal, My Funky Date – Directed by Debashish Singh, Selected and Screened under Butterfly Project Film Series, and The Valentine Promise, Rasiya – Directed by Deepak Chauhan, and Screened at Indian International Youth Film Festival, 2009. Anubha is currently working in a feature film “Red Gold“– Produced by Gray Area Productions, Directed by Michael Keller.
