She got an Economics (hons) degree from Hans Raj College, Delhi University and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune. She has over 12 years of work experience in the corporate and development sector in organisations like Save the Children, India, Charities Aid Foundation, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry. Is currently working as the Senior Education Coordinator at People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India looking after their humane-education programme for school children called Compassionate Citizen.
