Saker Mistri is a Speech Pathologist and Museum Educator. She has developed docent and children’s programmes in many museums including The National Museum Psat in Jakaarta, Indonesia and the Asia Society Galleries in New York and contributed to art and travel publications. Recent children’s books co-authored with Shaheen Mistri: Miss Muglee goes to Mumbai and Miss Muglee Met Mr Get. (Vakils,Feifer and Simons Pvt. Ltd.)

Dr. Sangeetha Rajan

Psychologist, People Development Professional and Odissi Dancer

Dr. Sangeetha Rajan is a psychologist, people development professional and Odissi dancer. She holds a doctorate from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences for her study of the artistic mind; is a management post-graduate from XLRI, Jamshedpur and holds an MA in Psychology. As a dancer, her performances have received critical acclaim and she has been teaching dance for the last decade. She is committed to creating learning using the arts, especially using the Indian aesthetic of dance to explore culture, unlock creativity and enhance life skills in children and adults.

Kavitha Rao

Kavitha Rao

Kavitha Rao is a journalist, author and trainer based in India and Istanbul. She writes on current affairs, the environment, the arts, culture, people and places for several international and national papers. Her work has appeared in the Guardian, the New York Times, the National, Time, Marie Claire US, Womense news, Vogue India, and several others. She also writes Terra India, a popular column for the Guardian on the environment in India, which won an Asian Environmental Journalism Award for best Environmental Blogger of 2013-2014. Kavitha also writes a monthly column for the Hindu on all things Turkish. She is co-author of "Everything You Wanted to Write About Freelance Journalism (but didn't know whom to ask)", a guide to breaking into freelance journalism, published by Westland.

Liad Soham

Israeli writer and attorney

He is an Israeli writer and attorney. Shoham, who still works as an attorney, writes legal thrillers, and is considered Israel’s leading crime writer. All his crime novels (seven to date) have been critically acclaimed bestsellers and were translated to several languages. Liad shoham His books are realistic depictions of Israel’s criminal justice system, as the police and the courts themselves are reflections of the country’s society. Shoham’s protagonists are flesh and blood, everyday Israelis. The books are not part of a series but independent works of fiction. He did his LLB is from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem and his LLM in International Commercial Law at the London School of Economics. He has been a member of the Israeli Bar since 1997. He still works as an attorney and is a partner in an Israeli law firm. He lives in Tel Aviv with his family.

Brian Singleton

President - International Federation for Theatre Research

Professor Brian Singleton holds the Samuel Beckett Chair of Drama and Theatre at Trinity College Dublin, and is Academic Director of The Lir - National Academy of Dramatic Art at Trinity College Dublin. He is President of the International Federation for Theatre Research and former editor of Theatre Research International (Cambridge University Press). He is co-editor (with Janelle Reinelt) of the book series "Studies in International Performance". He serves on the Editorial Boards of New Theatre Quarterly and Contemporary Theatre Review. His research interests include orientalism and interculturalism in performance, as well as contemporary Irish and European theatre. His most recent monograph is entitled "Masculinities and the Contemporary Irish Theatre" (2011). His other major publications include two books on the life and work of Antonin Artaud, a monograph on "Oscar Asche, Orientalism and British Musical Comedy" ( 2004), as well as a vast array of book chapters and journal articles centred on his major research interests.

Sowmya Rajendran

Indian writer

Sowmya Rajendran was born and brought up in Chennai but now lives in Pune. She has written books for children across age-groups, ranging from picture books for the very young to young adult fiction. Her titles have been included in the CBSE's recommended reading list for schools. She's the co-author of Mayil Will Not Be Quiet which was shortlisted for the Economist Crossword Award in the children's category for 2011. Sowmya also writes for the. Student edition of The New Indian Express and is a columnist with Sify Movies.

Anju Makhija has published several books of poetry, translation, plays and children's fiction/TV scripts. She has also co-edited anthologies related to partition poetry, women's verse and Indo-English theatre. H awards include: *The National Educational Film Festival Award, USA ('85);The All-India Poetry Prize ('94); The BBC World Poetry Award ('02); and the Sahitya Akademi Translation Prize.

Jane Bhandari

Writer, interior designer and co-ordinates ‘Loquations’

Jane Bhandari is a writer and interior designer and co-ordinates ‘Loquations’, a Mumbai poetry reading group. She also reviews poetry, and books for children. She has authored two volumes of poetry, Single Bed and Aquarius, and two collections of short stories for children, The Round Square Chapatti and The Long Thin Jungle. Her poems have appeared on several websites, magazines and anthologies, including We Speak In Changing Languages (Sahitya Akademi). Co-editor with Anju Makhija of an anthology of poems for children, recently published by Sahitya Akademi
