Rushina Munshaw Ghildiyal: Rushina began her food career in 2004 as one of India’s pioneering food writers and bloggers. Today, her blog, ‘Rushina Munshaw Ghildiyal’, is one of the most popular food blogs in India. In more than a decade of writing, she has published numerous articles on gastronomy in a plethora of reputable international publications. As an author, she’s collaborated with some of the biggest names in the food business, and is currently working on her second book project. Set against the Mumbai backdrop, her first book, ‘A pinch of this, a handful of that’, is a memoir of her food journey published in 2013. She heads ‘A Perfect Bite® Consulting, a premier food-consulting firm and launched India’s first home cooking studio – APB Cook Studio in Aug, 2012. She aims to inspire food-loving patrons to explore and expand their worldview of food.

Pooja Kohli was born and raised in New Delhi on a steady diet of Bollywood films, bhangra music and spicy chaat. At the age of 22 she produced and directed a 13 part series on Shiya Muslims, Shiya-Ya-Ne-Hind, for I.R.I.B., the national network of Iran. This early success encouraged her to further her knowledge and she studied filmmaking in London, before procuring a Masters in Visual Media Arts from Emerson College, Boston. After graduation, Pooja joined IFP, as Managing Director of the IFP Market. She also serves on various screening committees and juries including the Emmy Awards, Asian American International Film Festival, Tribeca Gucci Fund etc. She started with the MIAAC Film Festival in 2002, and was the Festival Director till 2007 when she left to form FilmKaravan – a group which develops, produces, promotes and distributes South Asian specialty films for a global audience. They recently released the critically acclaimed, groundbreaking film, Sita Sings the Blues.

Naresh Fernandes is a journalist who lives in Bombay. He is the editor of Scroll.in, a digital daily, and a consulting editor at National Geographic Traveller India. He was previously editor-in-chief of Time Out India, which has editions in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore. He has also worked at The Times of India and the Associated Press in Mumbai, and The Wall Street Journal in New York. His journalism has appeared in The Hindustan Times, The New York Times, India Magazine, Man’s World, Outlook Traveller, Seminar, Columbia Journalism Review, Art and Thought, Wespennest, Letras Libres, Transition, Culturefront and Citylimits, among other publications. He is the author of City Adrift: A Short Biography of Bombay (Aleph, 2013) and co-author of Bombay Then and Mumbai Now (Roli, 2009), a photo-led record of the city’s historical and contemporary concerns. He is currently a Poiesis Fellow at the Institute of Public Knowledge at New York University and is on the editorial policy board of the World Policy Journal.
