It is important that we teach our children the value of respect and kindness to all of creation while they are young. This interactive multi-activity workshop conducted by Senior Education Co-ordinator, PETA (People of Ethnic Treatment of Animals), Puja Mahajan, and the versatile Actor, Voice Over Artiste and Teacher, Kristine Zedek, will teach children empathy towards animals through art, craft, storytelling, animal trivia and theatre, as they emerge with deeper compassion and respect towards not only animals but their fellow humans as well. He educational qualifications include an Economics(hons) degree from Hans Raj College, Delhi University and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune. She has over 12 years of Work experience in the corporate and development sector in organizations like Save the Children, India; Charities Aid Foundation; Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry. Currently working as the Senior Education Coordinator at People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals(PETA) India, she is looking after their humane –education program for school children called Compassionate Citizens.
