Satyanshu Singh


Satyanshu Singh hails from a family with a rich artistic background. He is from a small town called Munger, in the state of Bihar, India. As a child he had a very versatile and deep taste in music, literature, performing arts and movies. After high school, Satyanshu went to Armed Forces Medical college, Pune for a graduation degree in Medicine. He ultimately decided not to pursue medicine and moved to Mumbai to begin his career as a filmmaker, where he now writes, directs and teaches cinema. His works include writing poems and stories for Udaan (2010) and lyrics for the song "Life yeh Mausambi-si" in Ferrari ki Sawari (2011). Satyanshu and his brother Devanshu singh made a Kashmiri short film named "Tamaash" (The Puppet) which won award at various film festivals across the globe.
