This workshop will explore themes on writing for the environment and
climate change with focus on Coral Woman, a children's book that
tells the fascinating life story of Uma Mani, a homemaker and artist, who
in her 50's, found the courage to dive for the first time into the coral reefs
that she so loved. Uma Mani, herself will join the workshop briefly to share
her journey and how she has devoted her artistic practice to create awareness
about marine conservation.
