Learn how to create arresting images of the city’s built environment in this hands-on workshop with Veteran Photographer, David de Souza. Mumbai has a rich variety of beautiful and interesting architectural examples worth capturing- be they svelte skyscrapers, historic landmarks, decrepit industrial factories or important architectural specimens. Expect to gain knowledge on framing, composition, and lighting techniques and principles, to review useful digital platforms and mobile phone apps and gain insights into more philosophical considerations like visual empathy, injecting personality and capturing the essence and character of a building through an image. The discussion will be followed by an opportunity to test out your newly acquired skills at the recently restored and reopened Royal Opera House, Mumbai with an exclusive shooting session at this iconic landmark. So whether you want to train your inner eye or hone your photography skills all you need is to bring your camera and a whole lot of imagination!
