What makes us more human; Poetry, the language of the soul, or Mathematical truths that explain our very existence? Join internationally bestselling Novelist, Mathematician and Playwright, Manil Suri in conversation with Award-winning Journalist, Author and Maths Aficionado,Dilip D’Souza, as they discuss Manil’s latest play, a provocative classroom drama that explores the nexus between mathematics and the humanities. The evening will also feature an enactment of the play by Manil along with Performer, Teacher and Movement Director, Yuki Ellias where they will pit precision against poetry and fractals against Shakespeare, while showing how two very different ways of thinking can profoundly shape our understanding of what it means to be human.
