Chandrahas Choudhury

Chandrahas Choudhury is a Delhi-based novelist (Arzee the Dwarf, Clouds, Days of My China Dragon), essayist and travel writer. Recent travel pieces by him include "In The Footsteps of Gandhi" (Conde Nast Traveler), about travelling around India by train a hundred years after Gandhi's return to India from South Africa; "The Great Mango Trail" (Wall Street Journal), about a fortnight-long summer trek in search of mangoes that don't commonly make it to the markets; and "Mumbai By Night" (EnRoute Air Canada), an account of wandering around the city from 6pm to 6am that won a gold in the 2018 North American Travel Journalists Association travel writing awards competition. He is also the editor of the anthology India: A Traveller's Literary Companion.
